Pierwszych wskazówek udzielił mi Marzan z Saurona, a później jeszcze zdarzyło mi się przyglądać i dopytywać w studio Sigil w Łodzi. ENG IZABELLA SOLARZ Tattooing has been doing for well over 10 years, but my adventure with tattoos began much earlier. For as long as I can remember I had a great passion for drawing and painting, and from an early primary school my goal was art school. Already at the beginning of my artistic education I happened to be several times in a tattoo studio, Rasa Lila in Kielce. When I saw what the tattooer's job looks like, I thought for the first time that it would be nice to do something like this in the future. One time a friend allowed me to fill a small fragment of his tattoo, and since the tattooer was a friend there was no problem. That was the first time I was holding the razor in my hand. I already knew what I wanted to do in the future and I wanted to get down to it professionally, and the good equipment was expensive, so all I had to do was draw patterns in a notebook and sometimes felt-tip pens on boarding friends. Several years have passed. I finished artistic weaving and went on easel painting to Lublin. Only after two years of study did the opportunity arise. Dad made some money abroad, so I asked for a grant for tattoo equipment. Opponent of all body modifications, strangely bowed under the argument: "well, what will I do after this painting?";). So in 2005 I bought all the equipment and started to explore tattooing techniques, I trained mainly on students. Marzan from Sauron gave me the first clues, and then I happened to look and ask at the Sigil studio in Lodz. At the beginning it was slow, because I had a lot of different activities, as in art studies, but in the fifth year there were a lot of customers. Shortly after defending my master's degree and painting diploma, I got the chance to work in Krakow in Cult. So in 2009, along with all my belongings, I moved from Lublin to Krakow. It was a deep water throw for me. A large studio, a lot of tattooists and a lot of work. But thanks to that I gained a lot of experience, I worked with many great tattoo artists from whom I learned a lot. I had the opportunity to participate in many tattoo events and conventions in Poland and abroad, and meet many great artists from around the world. With a huge baggage of experience, after almost 8 years of work in Cult, I decided to create my own studio. This is how the SAMSARA Tattoo Workshop at the beginning of 2017 started.
